The 60 x 60 cm butcher block is made from extremely hard wearing wood. The butchers block is made from acacia wood and is interlocked together to prevent expansion and cracking. The butcher block is painted using 'paint water' which is authorized for food use. Vaseline oil is used to treat the wood of the butcher block which is also authorized for food use and the wood is glued together using a long lasting Vinilic glue, also authorized for food use on the butcher block.
