The 150 x 60 cm butcher block is made from extremely hard wearing wood. The butchers block is made from acacia wood and is interlocked together to prevent expansion and cracking. The butcher block is painted using 'paint water' which is authorised for food use. Vaseline oil is used to treat the wood of the butcher block which is also authorised for food use and the wood is glued together using a long lasting Vinilic glue, also authorised for food use on the butcher block.
