Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping & Returns

At Butcher Buddy we offer free delivery on orders over £70.00 in the UK mainland

If any orders are made from offshore, remote areas, (Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Scilly Isles there will be an additional charge which will be calculated at the checkout – please note delivery may take longer

Any orders under £69.99 there will be a charge of £7.50 per order.

If you would like to visit our store you can collect your order for free within our business hours

If you require a next day delivery service orders will be charged at £10.00 up to 5kg – £15.00 on any orders up to 10kg

 

Pallet delivery will be £95 

 

Any orders placed after 1pm Monday – Friday will be dispatched the next working day (excluding bank holiday and public holidays

If you place an order on Saturday or Sunday this will be processed at our Butcher Buddy rade counter on Monday

If you place an order with our free standard delivery service, providing the order is placed Monday – Friday you will receive your delivery within 2-3 working days via Royal Mail. Once the order has been confirmed we will then send you the tracking ID so you can check on the status of delivery.

Any orders placed that are under £69.99 providing the order is placed Monday – Friday you will receive your delivery within 2-3 working days via Royal Mail. Once the order has been confirmed we will then send you the tracking ID so you can check on the status of delivery.

If you place an order with our next day delivery service providing the order is placed Monday – Friday you will receive your delivery within 1-2 working days via Royal Mail. Once the order has been confirmed we will then send you the tracking ID so you can check on the status of delivery.

If you choose our in-store collection option, you can collect your order at our Butcher Buddy warehouse in Bradford Monday to Friday 08:30 – 13:00

If you order any heavy, large items, from offshore, remote areas, (Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Scilly Isles please note we cannot guarantee the delivery times, you will be contacted by our shipping agents ahead of the delivery

Any orders that are placed on our website, please note delivery times are only estimated which we cannot guarantee. We will do our best to make sure they arrive within the timeframe. We will not be held liable for any delays in delivery or any other losses. Orders cannot be cancelled if your delivery arrives late

If you are unhappy with your order please call our friendly team on 01274 020775 Monday to Saturday between 08:30am – 13:00pm and they will be able to assist you further

We understand that sometimes products may not meet expectations or may need to be returned for various reasons. With this in mind, we offer a flexible return policy that allows customers to return products within 14 working days with a 15% charge of your total invoice to cover admin fees and shipping costs.
Typically if returns are accompanied by a valid proof of purchase. Whether it’s a sizing issue, a change of preference, or a defect, our goal is to ensure that customers receive the product that best suits their needs. We strive to make the returns process as seamless as possible.
Any products that have been opened from the original seal will not be replaced, refunded or exchanged.
Please ensure you bring/send back the products that need replacing. We cannot exchange products if the original product has not been received
Orders cannot be cancelled if your delivery arrives late

You can visit Butcher Buddy’s trade counter Monday – Saturday 08:30 – 13:00 to collect your goods.

Please note you would need to call our customer support team to book your collection time and date.

Please note Butcher Buddy will not be held responsible for any damaged boxes, however once the order has been opened and the goods are damaged please send us a photo of the damage and our team will be able to assist you further.
